The Weight of Love: Chapter 1

“PlayBoiAlex” (9:52:22 pm) Are you there?

The ping from Rebecca’s laptop could be heard across the living room. She put the candle she was lighting on her nightstand and walked to the other side of her penthouse apartment where her computer was in her office.

The first thing she did when she sat down in front of it was turn the volume down. Then she replied.

“EyemUrs” (9:53:32 pm) Yes.

“PlayBoiAlex” (9:53:59 pm) Skype? I want to see you.

“EyemUrs” (9:54:20: pm) Not tonight.

“PlayBoiAlex” (9:55:01 pm) How was your day? I missed you. Did you miss me?

“EyemUrs” (9:55:39 pm) My day would’ve been better if you were here. Of course I miss you.

“PlayBoiAlex” (9:57:12 pm) I’ll be back in town tomorrow. Can we meet up? Dinner?

“EyemUrs” (10:00:34 pm) I’ll let you know tomorrow. I’ll try.

Rebecca bit her lip and was suddenly glad that she didn’t sign in to her Skype account. Alex would easily be able to tell that she was blushing at just the thought of meeting up with her tomorrow. Who was she kidding, even without being on her webcam; Alex probably still knew that she was blushing. Alexandria Doneghy was cocky like that.

“PlayBoiAlex” (10:02:17 pm) What are you wearing?

“EyemUrs” (10:02:54 pm) Ummmm nothing. What about you?

“PlayBoiAlex” (10:03:30 pm) The same amount of clothes that you are probably. LOL

“EyemUrs” (10:04:03 pm) LOL Whatever.

Alex pulled her dreds up into a pony tail and tied them with a rubber band. Her date had been getting ready for hours and she was starting to get frustrated. Since there was a significant time difference, she decided to hit Rebecca up for a little qt. When the woman she picked up this morning at the bookstore finally walked out of the bathroom, she told her to have a seat, because now SHE wasn’t ready.

“PlayBoiAlex” (10:06:43 pm) I got you a souvenir.

“EyemUrs” (10:07:15 pm) Really? What is it?

“PlayBoiAlex” (10:08:19 pm) A real orgasm. LOL. It’s in my pocket. Want it?

“EyemUrs” (10:09:11 pm) Yes!

“Hey baby,” Toni called as she walked into Rebecca’s office and stood behind her. “I thought you were joining me in the shower?”

Rebecca quickly minimized her conversation and then signed out of her aim account as she swung her chair around to meet her girlfriends prying eyes.

“I was baby, I’m sorry,” Rebecca answered, standing to be closer to Toni. “I got distracted. Let me make it up to you.”

“What were you doing?” Toni asked, wrapping her arms around Rebecca but pulling her lips away from her intended kiss.

Not wanting to lie completely, Rebecca answered, “Just chatting with Alexandria. She’s out of town again and homesick.”

“Always Alexandria huh?” Toni responded and then left Rebecca standing in her office alone.

Rebecca followed her silently, but close enough for Toni to realize she was right on her heels.

“When will I meet this friend of yours babe?” Toni spun around to ask. “Five years we’ve been together and I have never met her.”

“She’s just always so busy papa.” Rebecca answered pouting her lips and batting her eye lashes. “I barely see her either.”

“Well, you sure talk to her a lot.” Toni replied, sliding into their king size bed.

“Awww is someone jealous?” Rebecca teased.

Toni didn’t respond. There was only silence. Rebecca turned off the lights and got into the bed on her own side. She hated having a king size bed. They were always so far from each other. Rebecca liked affection all the time. She craved constant body contact. This didn’t allow for much unless they were having sex and when it was over, Toni usually went back to her own side.

Toni rolled over to Rebecca so she was slightly on top of her. “No, I’m not jealous,” Toni spoke in almost a whisper. “You come home to me every night. I KNOW this is my pussy.”

The both chuckled and smiled at each other.

“It’s yours baby,” Rebecca finally responded as she pulled her girlfriend in for a long, deep kiss that would initiate the same sex they always had.
