Every morning I wake up
With some past lying beside me
She kisses me lightly
On my forehead
Then my lips
And tells me it’s gonna be
A better day
A day better than before
I get up
Wash my face and ass
And head to the door
And there she is…
Always by my side
Reminding me of the
Torment and lies
You told…
Woman you are so cold…
I ask myself how
In the fuck did I get here
Timid…full of fear
Scared to love and be loved
I run
I duck and dodge
Any possibility of interest
Haunted by your kiss
This…thing… What is it?
I have to ask…is it you
Are you really the one
Or am I simply in love
With the memory of you…
It hurts…
Walked on like dirt
Replaced by less than
But who am I to judge…
How can I question
If she’s your one
true love…
Yet every morning
I wake up
with a heartache so
Severe I feel it in the
Strands of my hair
Still loving you endlessly
While keeping my distance
clearly…
You still can’t hear me…
Still Too busy
Falling for the same “lame game”
While I shake my head
In shame…
Pissed the fuck off
Cause I will never be
The same…
