Introducing KT

Hey y’all!

I’m Kaycee Annette Tobyn and I live in Columbus, Ohio. You can call me KT, though. Yes, that’s an accent you hear. I grew up in Alabama. At 32, I’m the eldest of three kids. My brother and sister are twins and they’re almost four years younger than I am. My parents are a sore topic for me, so I’m going to skip that part of my life for now.

I’m an artist. Thankfully I’m not of the “starving” variety. I write in my spare time but I don’t share it with anyone because it’s rather raunchy. And, to make a living, I’m a designer who deals with logos, banners, event flyers, that kind of thing. I do my own printing with a press I bought years ago and I use it to help me fulfill what I consider to be my civic duty. It’s one of those old-fashioned machines that require a little tinkering to get it going if it stops on you. It’s a good thing I’m skilled with my hands. That’s a gay chick joke I’m sure some of you won’t catch. And no, I don’t look like your typical lesbian.

I’m not a typical anything, really. I’m not a hippie. I don’t smoke…anything. I don’t wear skirts unless I have to. I don’t wear my hair down unless I have to. And I don’t wear makeup unless…you get the picture. I can be a girl. And I can be a boy. I can also be in between. Don’t let the absence of a stereotype fool you, though. My red hair does mean I’m easy to fire up. And once you get me smoking, I can burn for a while. That can be taken in a good or a bad way, I suppose.

I have a core group of friends, a best friend, and no girlfriend. But I’m happy. I want world peace, justice for all, happiness for everyone, and to lose about 30lbs. That’s not asking much, right? Even if it is, I think we’ve all earned it.

Signed,

KT
