“So what is it that I have?” Ki focused her brown eyes on Brie. Brie stared back at her, her body language full of attitude. Brie turned her back to Ki and headed to their back door.
“Noooo, you didn’t want to tell me what you thought you had, so I’m not going to tell you do have…” She spoke before closing the door behind her.
“No, that heffa didn’t.” Ki quickly followed behind her leaving Ash and Ed sitting on the couch alone together.
“Well…” Ash sighed at the same time Ed cleared her throat. “What a crazy situation, right? I mean, she has it, she doesn’t have it, what does she have…” Ash rambled on and on, her voice trembling with nervousness. This was the first time they had been alone with inches separating them since the night they had been intimate. It was more than she could handle. She needed a good reason to get away.
“Oh, shit!” Ed immediately got up from her seat and ran outside to break up Ki and Brie. Both of them were covered in mud from this mornings rain. They were on the ground wrestling, both struggling to pin the other person. Ed went to pry them apart and they pulled her to the grown with them. Ash laughed from her new viewpoint on the back patio. It wasn’t long before Ki jumped on her back, knocking her to ground with the rest of them. They all gave up when they found each other too slippery to grab and out of breath.
“I mean, this has been real, umm…fun, in a juvenile kinda way, but can we get back to the point? Brie? What’s wrong with me?”
“Nothing is wrong with you. Everything is right.” Brie began to cover Ki’s mud smeared face in kisses. “And I’m perfect too. Except for a little UTI. So we can be perfect together, right?’
Ki looked at Brie. “This is nothing to joke about Brie. What did the nurse say? I ought to sue their fuckin asses…”
“They got your results mixed up with someone elses.”
“Awww, group hug!” Ash demanded before realizing how close that would put her and Ed. When Ki and Brie walked away, they were still in each others’ embrace. She looked into Ed’s brown eyes and saw something there she had never seen before.
“Hold up, who the fuck is that in the house?” Three heads turned in the direction Ki indicated. A shadow of a tall thin man moving around the second floor surprised them all.
“Imma call the police.”
Ed released Ash, “Yeah, you do that. Cuz I’m about to bust his ass!”
Oh shit! they gettin robbed? Ed bout the whoop that ass. lol Brie and Ki are too cute. Perfect together…I like that.

All four covered in mud? Ed ain’t gotta whoop no one’s ass…they just need to walk in the house screaming and covered in mud!
I think Chapter 27 should include a shower scene.
