Ki and Brie were cuddled up in front of the fireplace on a small loveseat, both feeling slightly less than romantic. Ki wanted to go home to make sure Ed was ok. Brie was ready for whatever loving Ki was ready to give her. At this point, it seemed like Ki wasn’t going to give Brie any loving. She was too worried about Ed.
“Ash has that situation under control,” Brie pleaded with Ki. “Why can’t we enjoy this fire and this nice wine you picked out?” She stood up, untied her robe revealing a sheer concoction of lace. She watched Ki’s eyes get big. She reached for her wine glass and quickly drained the amber colored liquid.
“Damn, ma…That’s all you had to say…” Ki stood next to Brie and pulled her body close. She buried her face in the crook of her neck, inhaled before kissing the soft skin that resided there.
When Ki’s lips met Brie’s skin, she attempted to control her shivering. It didn’t work. She could feel heat slowly spreading through her body and making her toes curl. She buried her hands in Ki’s hair, her fingers easily sliding the through the silky black tresses.
Ki could feel Brie’s body grow slack against hers. She took her hand and led her to the large four poster bed that monopolized the small cabin. She eased backwards onto the bed inviting Brie to lie on top of her.
Once again, their lips met, their tongues dancing around the others. Their bodies started to gyrate, seeking a closer connection. Soft moans echoed around the room. Ki slid her hands down Brie’s body feeling the lace against her hands. She stopped to grip the fleshy parts of her hips pulling Brie closer still while raising her hips.
“I want you so bad…” Brie growled. Her lips were licking and sucking the bulging vein in Ki’s neck. Ki’s breathing got deeper, faster and louder. Her mind started to float to the clouds, but there was something that was bothering her.
“Brie? Umm. You know. It’s been.” Her sentence was broken. She could barely think. “A long time. I mean. A really long time.”
“Uh huh, baby, I know. Let me take care of that for you.” Brie reached for Ki’s belt. Ki’s hands met hers there.
“I’m not gonna ask how long it’s been for you. Cuz well, I kinda know. With us being roommates and all.” Ki was sitting up now. Brie’s face was contorted and full of confusion.
“Spit it out already, Ki.” Brie put some distance between her and Ki. She wasn’t sure where this convo was headed.
“What’s your status?” Ki stammered.
“Status? I’m single, unless you want to change that before I change your world.” Brie’s smile beamed.
“Not that kind of status.” Ki shook her head. “Your HIV status. You see, I get tested every 6 months, even though I haven’t done anything in…” Ki’s face turned red. “And even when I was, I didn’t get near as much ass as you…”
“You try to call me a ho?” Brie’s face screamed anger.
“You really think I’d do that?”
“I don’t know what the fuck you’re trying to do. Better start explaining yourself. And I mean now, Ki.” Brie sat with her arms crossed in front of her. Ki sighed.

Thank you for this. 1. I loved the chapter. 2. It’s something that has been on my mind forever and I was just about to blog about it. Get tested folks. Know Your status. You could hurt someone you “love”.
