Soulrebel: Vain

Sometimes I almost wish we werent together

So I’d have a plausible excuse to miss you as much as I did…

Kisses so sweet…

Arms so warm

Damn shame I could never see myself with anyone else

Regardless of the spirit who came along

I hear you miss me

I understand you love me

But if I felt it

As much as you said it…

I wouldn’t wonder why it felt

Like you were actually hurting me

They say pain is pleasure

And if its welcome in all languages

Please me less with your mouth

More with your actions…

Take my heart and extract the resentment

I’ve allowed to enter in it…

Because I do love you

I miss you more than the snowflakes in December

On scorching summer days…

Want you more than my life

I just wish you’d let me see your love

And stop taking mine in vain.
