The Healing of Heartache

Between PTA Meetings, bake sales, and dance classes, there is never a dull moment in Sidney Montgomery’s life. Caring for her six year old daughter on her own after the death of her partner leaves no room for dating, let alone falling in love. That is until she meets her daughters new dance teacher. Paige Matthews is absolutely gorgeous. Guarded, Sidney forms a friendship with Paige that could lead into something more. But is she willing to let go of her past love, to find it again?

The Rhythm of Passion

Paige Matthews wasn’t looking for love when she moved to the West Coast. After a string of bad luck in relationships and life, Paige wanted to start fresh in the West. With an injury leaving her looking on from the sidelines, Paige opens a dance studio for young girls. After witnessing the greatness and potential in student Kennedy Montgomery, Paige soon discovers a story that goes deeper than she expected. Could Paige be the one to mend Sidney’s broken heart and be the mother figure Kennedy needs in her life? Only time will tell…

freethrownNew to the I Bleed Ink world, but not to creating expressive fiction, Savi Smith brings will bring you a new shot of “Freethrown” every Wednesday starting December 2.

Starting college is hard enough, but when you add sexual tension, things can get out of hand really fast. Jesse Cooper didn’t plan on falling in love, then again, who does? She’s new in town, a bench warmer for the women’s basketball program, and infatuated with someone she should not even consider as a bed mate. But she can hardly help it.

Will she be able to dredge up the courage to reveal her feelings? If she does, what will be the response? If it’s negative, will she crumble and never trust another? If it’s positive, is she mature enough to handle a relationship that’s bound to draw attention and put her life under a microscope?

And lastly, I will present to you a new daily series, “Love, Life” debuting with the next edition of I Bleed Magazine on December 1…And don’t be surprised if you see some of your favorite characters from Midtown make an appearance or two.

lovelife copy3Delilah Ferguson loved her career as a staff writer, but not the lifestyle it afforded her. Despite her lack of funds, she still managed to have a reputation for knowing all of the happenings in the city of Atlanta. Gay, straight, white, Black, Latino, or Asian. It seemed she had the knack of picking just the right place to be.

When her newspaper posted an announcement for a girl on the street, an entertainment writer with a weekly column and a big raise, Delilah jumped on the opportunity. Concerned that her employer wouldn’t take her proposal seriously, she created an alter ego, Love Life.

Everyone in Delilah’s life disapproves of the changes Delilah is forced to make to gain success. Her parents. Her friends. Her on and off again lover. Even her dog, Deacon, seems to bark his disapproval. How will Delilah manage her relationships and achieve success?

If you are a writer and would like to write a fiction series, feel free to email editor@i-bleed-ink.com with your proposal. And the rest of you, leave your feedback so the writers will know how much you love their work.
